Welcome to Cornhouse Cottage
It was in 2003 that Cornhouse Cottage was developed from an outbuilding to a holiday home and we have welcomed people from all over the world in the years since.
The oldest building on the farm, the Cottage dates back to medieval times, with many original beams still in place.
The kitchen area was a scullery complete with pump, mangle, Copper and stone sink. What is now the lounge was a dairy, containing meat safes and other farming paraphernalia.
Upstairs was a granary, only accessed by steps from outside.
Now it is a fully equipped home for peaceful holidays!
What you will find in our cottage
The kitchen has a washer-dryer, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, range oven and microwave.
The lounge has a TV with a built in DVD player, and a video player too.
Wifi is free.
Upstairs there are two en suite bedrooms and a shower room. One room has a king-size bed with plenty of room for our travel cot if required. The other room has a double and single bed. All have memory foam mattresses.
There is a downstairs bathroom, so plenty of facilities!
Towels and all bed linen are provided.
